this game would technically be a clone of a parody of gradius. gikoparo is a parodius clone, a game made by konami as a humorous version of gradius, which was also made by konami. this game plays very similarly, although like mose clones, things from other games are added in as well. this game adds a few things from r-type as well as one that i think i reminiscent of cho aniki. the sprites are all goofy, from giant chickens to ferris wheel bosses. i think the cats are supposed to be 2chan board cats. a good solid game, and it is a flash game as well. you have to open the main file in a browser to play. a really well done and fun clone. download here.
